Violin Lessons for Ages 15-17
This is the traditional way to learn to play an instrument. The student visits the studio once a week and practices daily between lessons. Some students request two or three lessons a week. We recommend beginners start with no more or less than one half-hour lesson per week except in special circumstances. Our studio is located at 203 W Main St in Smithville, MO. Students who are able to drive themselves to lessons or are close enough to walk may come to the studio without a parent. However, if you do not have your own transportation, a parent must accompany you to the studio and remain on site (the waiting room or the car is fine) in case there is an emergency. If your child is providing his or her own transportation, make sure your instructor knows who to contact in case of an emergency.
Tuition is calculated based on how often you schedule lessons. It is not an hourly rate. Rather, it is based on a monthly average of the amount of time an instructor spends providing lessons. Therefore, we cannot offer lessons more or less frequently or divide time and tuition intended for one student among multiple students. We also do not offer class-based discounts. We are also unable to collect tuition weekly or biweekly instead of monthly. If you are unable to commit to paying one of our monthly tuition rates, we recommend exchange lessons as needed, instead.
If you have not done so yet, please schedule an orientation in our studio. Then, complete the form below if you would like someone to contact you about registering your child for cello lessons in our studio.
