Recitals
|
|
Recitals are opportunities for students to share what they have learned, with whomever they wish to share it. Four times a year, Treble Strings students are invited to record something they have prepared. Whether they keep the video for their own personal use, so they can look back on it to see how they have progressed, share it with family and friends, or post it publicly where anyone can view it is up to them.
In order to avoid copyright violations, Treble Strings requires students to choose public domain works for recitals. We will not approve the posting of copyrighted works on our social media pages.
Formal Recital (March)
Wear formal or professional attire.
Ensemble Recital (June)
Perform in groups of two or more.
Masquerade Recital (September)
Wear a mask.
Christmas Recital (December)
Play traditional Christmas music.
Treble Strings also encourages students to perform whenever and wherever they are comfortable doing so: online or off, recorded or live, public or private. Available opportunities will vary by age, instrument, and location. Many schools and community organizations offer ensembles, sessions, talent shows, or festivals.
