Weekly 30-Minute Lessons
Price includes four lessons, recurring weekly. Schedule weekly 30-minute lessons. Choose your preferred day and time. We will contact you to confirm availability. Recurring lessons are scheduled every week at the same time, excluding holidays and the fifth occurrence of a lesson day in a given month. Holidays and cancellations will not be refunded but can be replaced with a video exchange lesson. Weekly lesson rates reserve a given day/time in the instructor's schedule and are discounted compared to purchasing single lessons. Live video lessons are not offered in June, July, and August.

If this is the first time you have registered this student for this lesson type, you should receive the following emails (check your junk mail)!
You will need to read each of these emails and complete the instructions, or else your lesson will be delayed until you have done so.
You will not receive a phone call from your instructor to confirm your lesson! The email from Square is the only confirmation you will receive. The student should be in the Forte waiting room shortly before the lesson is scheduled to begin.
Your instructor is unable to provide technical support. Please ensure your equipment is working prior to your lesson. The following equipment is required:
- Laptop or desktop using Google Chrome
- External microphone
- External headphones (earbuds not recommended)
If you do not use headphones, your microphone will pick up the sound from your speakers, and you will hear an echo. This can cause confusion while trying to play an instrument. Therefore, headphones are absolutely necessary for live video lessons.
The student needs to be positioned so that the instructor can see what they are doing at all times. The goal should be to get the student's hands and arms in frame as well as the parts of the instrument with which they interact while playing, even at the risk of excluding their face.
Weekly lessons are initially scheduled for the next available time that fits your stated preferences and will recur every week at the same time, no more than four times a month. Lessons will begin and end at their scheduled times, and tardy students are not entitled to the full duration.
If lessons are canceled by the client, there will be no refund, nor will the client be able to reschedule. However, if the student has submitted their assignments on time, they may have a video exchange lesson, instead.
If a major holiday falls on the day of the week on which a lesson would normally be scheduled, the student may have a video exchange lesson in lieu of a live video lesson if they have submitted their assignments on time.
If the weekday on which a lesson is scheduled occurs five times in a given month, the student will not have a fifth lesson.
Refunds will only be issued if a scheduled and confirmed lesson is canceled by the instructor. In the case of 30-minute lessons recurring weekly, the value of a single 30-minute lesson is $25. Therefore, the amount refunded if the instructor cancels such a lesson will be $25. A lesson will not be considered "canceled" if the instructor discontinues a lesson already in progress because the student is unprepared or uncooperative, and no refund will be issued nor will a video exchange lesson be offered in such cases.
